What is the difference between CMDA and DTCP limits?
CMDA governs the designated Chennai Metropolitan Area (including Chennai district and parts of Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpattu districts). DTCP governs planning permissions across the remaining regions of Tamil Nadu.
Is OSR land mandatory for all layouts?
Under TNCDBR rules, layouts exceeding specified land extent require dedication of a percentage of area for Open Space Reservation (OSR) or equivalent fee payment as specified by the authority.
